New Star Realty & Investment opened New Star Escrow company on August 1st, 2001 at LA headquarters. There are Escrow officers Sarah Min and Joanne Lee in LA office. There are John Hong and Sarah Choi in Cerritos office.
New Star Realty & Investment Group's plan to form a One-stop service system through Escrow company, title insurance company, and financial company brought about the establishment of New Star Escrow.
Escrow is a business that checks the contract and agreement between the seller and the buyer in a neutral, third party's position. Escrow officer takes care of the seller & buyer's money, documents, and other valuables.
California real estate law allows the broker to do the escrow work. In July 2002 New Star Cerritos escrow office was opened. Escrow offices will be opened in Valley, East Coast, Torrance and in Korea by 2005.

Title Insurance Service
New Star family is busy every day to increase the assets of clients.
A "title" is a document that shows the ownership of a property.
More concretely, it is the evidence of ownership by the real estate owner.
Title insurance is an insurance that protects the real property owner or loan bank from a defect or un-marketability of ownership.
When the title is deemed to be unmarketable, and when a third party insists on the title ownership, the title insurance company provides the owner with the money for a lawsuit and insurance.
New Star Realty & Investment plans to open a title insurance company in 2005.

Foreigner's acquisition of Korean real estate started since June 1998 when Korea opened up the market to foreigners.
Of all the acquirers, most are Korean-Americans, and of them approximately half and Korean-Americans located in Los Angeles.
According to the census by Korean Department of Building and Transportation (DBT), there were 903 cases of foreigner's acquisition of Korean real property, of these American acquisition accounted for 464 cases, 51.4% of the total.
According to the July 2000 census by Korean Real Estate Information Center under the DBT, there are 845 cases of foreign direct real estate acquisition in Korea in October-December 1999. Of these cases there are 501 acquisitions by Americans. Of the Americans who acquired property, more than 80% are Koreans-Americans o Korean-American companies. 58% of acquirers were Americans, 9% European, 9% Chinese, 7% Japanese, and 6% by citizens of other Asian countries.
American national's Korean property acquisition increased since the 1998 Korean market opening and only increased.
